Festival dokumentárních filmů o bydlení, architektuře a sociální udržitelnosti.

Současná evropská města procházejí radikální proměnou sociální skladby obyvatel. Centra se vylidňují, narůstá krize bydlení a sílí příliv nových obyvatel ze zahraničí, mimo jiné z důvodu klimatických změn a válečných konfliktů. Důsledky této proměny dopadají ve většině případů nejprve na sociálně slabé, pro které přestalo být v centrech současných měst místo. Pestrost sociální skladby, integrace a vzájemná solidarita jsou přitom ověřenými prostředky posilování občanského soužití. Sociální segregace, exkluze a vytváření nerovností naopak města oslabují.

Filmový festival prezentuje příklady dobré praxe, kde se místní komunity pokoušejí vytvořit funkční společenské i materiální zázemí pro důstojný život. Během dvou dní představí 5 filmů a diskuse se zajímavými hosty. Filmový festival organizují spolky Artyčok.TV a Architekti bez hranic ve spolupráci s CAMP, Centrem Architektury a Městského Plánování.

Festival of documentary films about housing, architecture and social sustainability.

Contemporary European cities are undergoing a radical transformation of the social composition of the population. The centers are depopulating, the housing crisis is growing and the influx of new residents from abroad is increasing, among other things due to climate change and war conflicts. The consequences of this transformation in most cases fall first on the socially weak, for whom there is no longer room in the centers of contemporary cities. The diversity of the social structure, integration and mutual solidarity are proven means of strengthening civil coexistence. On the contrary, social segregation, exclusion and the creation of inequalities weaken cities.

The film festival presents examples of good practices where local communities try to create a functional social and material background for a dignified life. During two days, they will present 5 films and discussions with interesting guests. The film festival is organized by the association Artyčok.TV and Architects without Borders in cooperation with CAMP, the Center for Architecture and Urban Planning.
